(NEW).
Scientists believe successful tests in monkeys could prove a new type of drug to combat HIV.
The journal Nature reports infected animals survived almost twice as long after a single treatment to raise immune response to the virus. An independent expert said multiple doses were possible, and might eliminate the virus. Current antiretroviral drugs must be taken for life, giving HIV the opportunity to build up resistance. Although millions of people without HIV can't currently receive them, modern antiretroviral drugs have transformed the life expectancy of people with the infection. However, scientists are constantly looking for alternative ways to keep the virus in check. One option is being tested in the US on macaque monkeys infected with "simian immunodeficiency virus" - their equivalent of HIV. One of the features of HIV is its ability to impede the body's own methods for clearing viral infections. In particular, it manages to activate a signalling system in the body's immune cells - which then actually stop the body's immune response. The latest treatment works by blocking that signalling system, which has the effect of boosting the function of "killer" immune cells.
In this new I have learned the meaning of:
- Currently: actuality.
- Features: charactheristics.
- Boost: an increase.

DESCRIPTION OF A PERSON.
He is a famous actor. He has made two films and he has had a programme on TV called Mr Bean. He is comic and and laughes about himself. Is for this that he can do a very funny programme. I admire him because he can make laugh people without saying a word.
He is unattractive, ugly, short and he has big ears. Also Mr Bean has dark brown hair. His eyebrows are very thick and his skin is little stained. He has got small and sad eyes. His hair is reciding and it's rough. His lips are thin. Finally, the outstanding charactheristic phisically is the mold in the left part of his face.
He usually dresses old fashioned. With him, there is always a Teddy bear, which is part of his made up. His suit is not his size and for this, the brown trousers are short. Depending on the time he dresses for the ocasion and he doesn't match the colours he's wearing. Sometimes he wears a dicky bow or a tie. And he always wears a belt and black shoes.
In his TV programme and in his films, he's absent minded, stupid, friendly, pretends to be shy, he has the knack to always make things worse, stubborn, within his stupidity is clever and he is a disaster as a person, but he's likeable.
In real life he's very intelligent, serious, pleasant, a good listener, polite and a genial person but his really ugly like in his programme.

Summary of the film.
Juno, a girl who is sexteen yerars old, discovers she is pregnant with a child fathered by her friend and longtime admirer, Paulie Bleeker. While at first she intends to have an abortion, she changes her mind and decides to make a plan for the child's adoption.
With the help of her friend Leah , Juno searches the ads and finds a couple. Along with her father, Mac , Juno meets the couple, Mark and Vanessa Loring , in their expensive home and expresses a desire for a closed adoption. However, Juno and Leah happen to see Vanessa in a shopping mall being completely at ease with a child, and Juno encourages Vanessa to talk to Juno's baby in the womb, where it obligingly kicks for her. On the other hand, Juno more easily forms a friendship with Mark. Both like a punk rock and horror films.Mark, who has set aside his rock band youth , works at home composing commercial jingles. Juno hangs out with Mark a few times, ignoring a warning from her stepmother Bren that she shouldn't spend time alone with a married man. Juno struggles with the emotions she feels for her baby's father, Paulie, who is clearly in love with Juno. She maintains an outwardly indifferent attitude toward Paulie, but when she knows that he has asked to another girl to the prom, she is hurt and angrily confronts him.Not long before her baby is due, Juno is again visiting with Mark when their interaction becomes strongly emotional. Mark then tells her that he will be leaving Vanessa. Vanessa arrives home, and, to her shock, Mark tells her he does not feel ready to be a father. Juno makes a decision.
The film ends in the summertime with Juno and Paulie playing guitar and singing together, followed by a kiss.

My first oral presentation.
When I finished it I thought that it had been a disaster, I don't know why, but that was my impression.
Later when I watched the video my opinion changed, I thought that it was better than I thought. Also, I listened to some expresions or sentences that when I practised it I failed it, but these day I did it good. So I was happy. Later when I wrote literally all that I said in my oral presentation I saw some important failures and it discouraged me.
I used some attractive resources. I didn't read from my notes and I did some movements to indicated some concret things of the powerpoint , that I was refering at that moment. I organized my ideas in a chronological order . Also I think that all the time I looked at the public while I was talking. I introduced some markers and maybe some information new for someone. For example, I think that everybody learned how poor is a Maya town. I looked for information in my album of photos. I checked my grammar and I used the dictionary to look for the meaning of "palla", "canyes"... I used one sentence liker, I know that I would must tell you more of these. I used fillers, I repeated the word: very.
I knew how pronunce all my words and I checked it with a classmate. Finally I saw that my tone of voice wasn't monotone and I talked in a fluid continuum more or less.
In the next oral presentation I can improve my vocabulary and make sentences longer than these and more "complicated". I think that in my class I have a low level and I don't like it.
Sincerely I don't know what mark I'll get because I don't want to do illusions myself and then that I will be disappointed myself.

MY OPINION ABOUT THIRTEEN AND THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE.
All of these changes Tracy, starts going out with bad companies and she finishes by taking drugs, doesn't study, cuting herself... I can't understand how her mum didn't realise what Tracy was going through.
Adrian Mole is very different because he is infantile and the only thinh they have in common is that the parents are seppareted. Adrian Mole has a stronger character than Tracy and he doens't mind care about his problems.
Finally in my opinion the book was boring and I didn't like it because it didn't find it funny. The film was very good but I think that in the end there was something missing.
